Be careful what you wish for.
Watched Coraline. Bottom line: feels fresh and inspired. I really loved and enjoyed what stop-motion animation can deliver, especially the feeling of the “imperfect” motion of the characters compared to those of CG animation. It has so much warmth to it and is something that I believe the current generation needs to be more exposed to.
I was glad to find Kim Slate in the credit as Facial Animation Specialist. Way to go, Kim!
